Friday night!

Work has just ended and it has been a tough week. A sudden plan is made by friends or colleagues and you are going out partying!!!

Then the thought comes up, "Wait! I am on a diet! Let me find a way to get out of this."

WAIT!

You do not need to do that if you are smart enough.

A few hacks that you can use to enjoy your partying and still be on track:

1. Make smart eating choices. Eating out should not be a no-no on your night out's. You can do it by making better choices. Pick up a starter that has been cooked in a tandoor over the pizzas and fries. Have it with a side of salad so that you feel full easily. Making such choices will keep your intake of calories lower.

2. Diet drinks to the rescue. Drinking alcohol will not only add empty calories but the mixers served at the bars are calorie bombs with all kinds of juices and sodas added to it. Simply swap them with diet soda, sugarfree drinks or salted lemonades.

3. Save some calories. If you want to go eat out on a particular day, plan in advance. Just complete your protein and save the calories for the food you want to have. An example, if you are supposed to eat 1700 kcals and 130 grams of protein, complete the 130 grams using grilled meats, protein shakes, etc. This will still leave you with around 1000-1100 kcals to eat the foods you like. You can do this as long as you ensure that you eat in moderation.

4. Dance it off. Go dancing on these days so that you end up burning a few more calories and are on track with your progress.

Being fit does not mean giving up on social life.

If you are doing it that way, something is wrong.

Apply these hacks so that instead of worrying when weekend plans are made, you end up screaming TGIF!!!
