How many times does it happen that you see a friend, family member or colleague's awesome body transformation and are completely awestruck by that?

Every time, right? And just after seeing that you motivate yourself to do something like that, but once that moment is over, that motivation somehow vanishes and you go back to your normal lifestyle.

Most of us are afraid to make an attempt due to the different misconceptions we have developed and some of us who attempt, quit as soon as we start as we are not able to cope with challenges we face when starting out.

As with anything new, there is an adjustment period and it takes 3-6 weeks to make any new activity a part of your lifestyle. This can be difficult. However things are only as easy as you make them.

Here are some tips that will help you:

- Set realistic targets: Most of us sabotage our journeys by setting unrealistic targets and when we fail to hit them, we get demotivated and give up. So it is important that we set reasonable targets.

- Plan it out: There is a 75% chance of a person sticking to something if it is planned in advance. So have things planned out before you start.

- Be flexible: When things do not go our way, we tend to give up. This is mostly because we have a rigid mindset. So be more flexible. If you miss your morning workout don’t get too hung up on it. Try to accommodate it later in the day or later that week.

- Have a partner: Having a partner when starting out can be a great thing as you have someone to discuss things with, keep you motivated and accountable.
.

So keeping all this mind, let us hit finally hit the RESET button and start of our journey to become a better version of ourselves.
